Dallas THEOLOGICAL seminary

Dallas Theological Seminary and the Downline Institute partner to provide integrated biblical and theological training that equips students for life and ministry.

 

downline coursework (10hrs)

  • Classes you complete at Downline can count as transcripted credit, similar to transfer credit.

  • To receive credit, you’ll complete additional reading, writing, and research assignments.

Advanced Standing Exams

  • You may qualify for up to 22 hours of advanced standing in the M.A. degrees.

  • For the Th.M. program, you may earn up to 40 hours of advanced standing.

  • Advanced standing reduces the number of required courses by demonstrating your mastery of certain subject through exams.

Ministry Residency (12hrs)

  • Completed during your final year by traveling to Dallas in August.

  • You will be placed into a year-long ministry cohort.

  • The program concludes with a return trip to Dallas during graduation week.

 
 

Attending DTS after Downline will fast-track future Christian leaders in their journey to complete their education and enter full-time ministry equipped and empowered to serve the Kingdom. Through a partnership with Downline, students can apply their Downline Institute training toward seminary credit at Dallas Theological Seminary, allowing them to accelerate a Master of Arts degree in one of several disciplines.
